A shuttle service taking mountain climbers to the foot of the mountain charges Php150 per person each way.
Four mountaineers are debating whether to take the shuttle or to rent a car for Php450 plus Php50 per kilometer.
Assuming that the mountaineers will share the cost of the car and they want the least expensive method of
transportation, how far away is the mountain if highlight%28cross%28the%29%29 they choose to take the shuttle service?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cost for four using the shuttle is 4*150 = 600 Php.
Cost for four using the car is  C(x) = 450 + 50x,  where x stands for kilometers.
The inequality is
    600 <= 450 + 50x.
The solution is
    x >= %28600-450%29%2F50 = 150%2F50 = 3.
ANSWER.  The destination is farther than 3 kilometers.
Solved.
