descriebe solving double inequality
37%3E=-3x%2B7%3E=-2............to solve it, we need to isolate x
37-7%3E=-3x%2B7-7%3E=-2-7............add -7 to eliminate 7
30%3E=-3x%3E=-9..........divide by 3
30%2F3%3E=-3x%2F3%3E=-9%2F3
10%3E=-x%3E=-3.........................divide by+-1 to eliminate negative sign of x
10%2F-1%3E=-x%2F-1%3E=-3%2F-1........in this case >= will change to <=
-10%3C=x%3C=3
solution set is
[-10,3]

In the compound inequality, the coefficient of the x term is negative, so at some point we will need to multiply or divide by -1 to make it positive; that will change the direction of the inequality.

I personally prefer to do that at the start, so I won't forget to switch the direction later on. So I would solve the inequality like this....

37%3E=-3x%2B7%3E=-2
-37%3C=3x-7%3C=2
-30%3C=3x%3C=9
-10%3C=x%3C=3

ANSWER: [-10,3]
