Let s be seats, and r be rows. Then s=r-10. So
r(r-10)=1200
rē-10r-1200=0
(r+30)(r-40)=0
r=-30 or 40

Then number of rows = S + 10
We then get the following NUMBER-OF-SEATS equation: S(S + 10) = 1,200

S, or OR S = - 40 (ignore)
