-6 ≤ -3(2x-4) < 12

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

-6 ≤ -3(2x-4) < 12

Distribute to remove the parentheses:

-6 ≤ -6x+12 < 12

Subtract 12 from all three sides:

-18 ≤ -6x < 0

Divide all three sides by -6, which causes
the inequality symbols to reverse:

3 ≥ x > 0

That is the same as

0 < x ≤ 3

The equivalent interval notation is:

(0,-3]
