Question 1010499: How do I put these in order from least to greaest? I am confusing myself. 3^-2, square root of 2, 3/8, 0.028, and 5/6

You can put this solution on YOUR website! I usually tell my students to write them as decimals...so that
3^-2, square root of 2, 3/8, 0.028, and 5/6 becomes
.111, 1.414, .375. 0.028, and .8333
Thus least to greatest is easier to tell this way...
0.028, 3^-2, 3/8, 5/6, sqrt(2)
