suppose there is a 2 degree drop in tempature for every thousand feet that an airplane climbs into the sky, if the temputure on the ground, which is at sea level is 50 degrees, what would the tempature be when the plane reaches altitude of 23,000 ft? 23 times 2= 46....50 - 46= 4. Four degrees at 26,000 ft.
