Area of sail = 1/2 * base * height
52 = 1/2 *x* (x+5)
104 =x(x+5)

x%5E2%2B5x-104+=0
+x%5E2%2B13x-8x-104=0

+x%28x%2B13%29+-8%28x%2B13%29=0
(x-8)(x+13)=0
x= 8 OR -13
The base is 8 and Altitude is 13 feet
