You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Ax+b=c Subtract b from each side.
Ax=c-b Divide each side by A
x=%28c-b%29%2FA

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Ax%2Bb=c

Ax%2Bb-b=c-b Subtract b from both sides (to undo the +b).

Ax=c-b The b goes away on the left side (since b-b = 0)

Ax%2FA=%28c-b%29%2FA Divide both sides by A to undo the multiplication of A to x.

x=%28c-b%29%2FA Since A/A = 1, the A terms cancel on the left side

Final Answer: x=%28c-b%29%2FA
