Question 902487: the problem consist of finding the price of each item. for example Todd bought 7 shrubs and 5 tomatoes for 87 dollars and Sara bought 6 shrubs and 3 tomatoes for 138 dollars what is the price of one shrub and one tomato... how do I solve that?? Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 7s+5t=87,
6s+3t=138
There is something wrong with the problem.
Sara bought fewer shrubs AND fewer tomatoes but paid more! Almost double!
