Let x and y be the integers. We get
(i) x+-+y+=+9
(ii) 5y+=+7+%2B+3x
step 1 - rewrite (ii) in standard form as
(iii) -3x+%2B+5y+=+7
step 2 - multiply (i) by 5 to get
(Iv) 5x+-+5y+=+45
add (iii) and (iv) to get
(v) 2x+=+52
divide to get
x = 26
and then
y = 17
