I disagree on the first part. Vertical translations move the graph up or down. Horizontal translations move the graph left or right. This is NOT the same effect.

I disagree on the second part as well. reflecting across the x-axis changes the y value of the coordinate and reflecting across the y-axis changes the x-value of the coordinate.
