Well since one is 200 mph faster than the other.. it should be 400 miles further in the 2nd hour. So we should try a chart to make this easy.

200-600=800
250-650=900
300-700=1000
350-750=1100
400-800=1200
----
Ok if you look, you will see that one of them adds up to 1100. That's 350 and 750.. So all we need to do is divide in half to find the mph of each.

1st Airplane: 175mph
2nd Airplane: 325mph
