Question 231252: Rebecca wants to bake cookies and cupcakes for a bake sale. She can bake 15 cookies at a time and 12 cupcakes at a time. She needs to make at least 20 baked goods but no more than 360, and she wants to have at least three times as many cookies as cupcakes. What combination of batches of each could Rebecca make?
I need to get two system of inequality equations from this but I am not sure if I am getting the right equations. The equations I have are: x >= 3y and 120 <= x+y <=360

Question 232439: Problem: y=log 4 (x) +4, the number 4 in the equation is lower than the word log, I just don't know how to type it.
Evaluate the logarithmic equation for three values of x that are greater than 1, three values of x that are between 0 an 1, and at x=1. Show all the work and write each step you do so I can do my other problems please and use this as an example. Use the resulting ordered pairs to plot a graph. State the equation of the line asymptotic to the graph (if any).
I need major instruction here...I am completely lost.

Question 232438: I have tried to get help on this problem for a while and nobody is able to help me. I have 2 different problems, but I post them seperately.
Evaluate the exponential equation for three positive values of x, three negaitve values of x, and at x=0. Show all work and please write out the steps on what you are doing so I can learn from it. Use the resulting ordered pairs to plot the graph. State the equation of theline asymptotic to the graph (if any)
Problem:(1/4)^x -3, this is worth 10 ponts out of 30, so if I don't get this I am in trouble. Please help me. If has been 16 years since I've done this and my professor isn't much help.
