Question 123293: A communications company offers a variety of calling card options. Card A has a 30 cents connection fee and then costs 2 cents per minute. Card B has a 10 cents connection fee and then costs 6 cents per minute. Find the length of the call that would cost the same with both cards.
It doesn't make sense to me on how to solve it.

Question 123852: Problem- y = x+1
y = 2x-1
The question from my text book is: Solve each system of equations on the same set of axes.Tell whether the system is consistent or inconsistent and whether the equation are dependent or independent.
I'm trying to solve this by using the y=mx+b formula.Is this the correct formula to use?

Question 124016: It states to solve system by graphing. Then it said to idenitfy the system as consistent or inconsistent. Also identify if it is dependent or independent. My question is how do you know when the final answer is consistent, inconsistent, dependent, or independent.
The problem I have is: -2x+y=3
6x-3y=-9 Which the answer is y=2x+3. But I don't know if it is consistent or ect.
The other problem I have is x=4+y
3y=-3x Which the answer would be (2,-2) and again how would I know if it is inconsistent or ect.
