Question 111886: Please help me with understanding how to solve each system by graphing. For example, I have to solve, then graph the below:
-y -9 = -x (answer y=-1x+9)
-12-6y = x (answer y=6x+2)
I understand how to get the answer if the answer is actually correct, however, I need to understand how I then graph it. Please help.

Question 111995: Hi I have worked this problem and now need to know if I did it right so that I can graph it.
Can anyone help me.
3x-y< 2
znd x+y>2
the first equation I multiplied by -1
(-1) (3x-y<2)
then I flipped the sign so now I have
-3x +y >-2
I added 3y to both sides
I came up with my slope intercept form/answer
y>3/1x - 2
So my slope is 3/1 and y intercept is (0,-2)
Is that correct?
Then for my other equation x+y > 2
a minus x on both sides and flipped the sign
to come up with
y< - x/1 + 2
Should I have flipped the sign? Or is that only when you divide?
If I did it right then the slope will be (-1/1) and the y intercept will be (0,2)
If this is correct I can now graph. I am getting pretty good at graphing now.
Thank you for your help.
