Write the equation of a line perpendicular to the given line but passing through the given point y=2x-1,(2,-2)
I came up with:
y=2x-1; (2,-2)
y=2x(2)=4-1=3
y=2x(-2)=-4-1=5
y=3
y=5
However the instructor said that the slope of the perpendicular line should be
-1. I can not figure out how he came to that answer
