Question 360446: Find the equation of the line with the given points.
Answer y =
(1,6, - 3) and (5/6, 3)
Ok I get very confused with frractions and know that I am suppose to do the
3 - (-3)
5/6 - 1)
I am unsure first how to get that slope with the fraction there. Once I get the slope and put it in the correct form of y = mx + b, how would I get the b point?

Question 360442: Find an equation of the line with the given points
(-5, - 7) (-3, -8)
I did
-8 - (-7)
-3 - (-5) = -1/2 (correct?)
And then I am not sure what to do to get it in the y = mx + b form
I believe it would be y = -1/2x +b But how do i get that b?
Thank you

Question 360437: Find the equation of the line given the slope and points.
y =
m = 2/3 (8, -2)
I have tried working this, but always get confused when there are fractions included.
This is what I have so far:
y - ( -2) = 2/3(x-8)
Ok. Now what happens with the y + 2 = 2/3(x -8 )
is it 2y.
Please helpe try to figure this one.!!!
Thank you for your continued assistance!
