Question 356808: My problem would be i have to graph: 4x+y ≤ 6.
I found the x and y intercepts, (0,6) (3/2,0) but then as i try to verify my answer using slope intercept form
4x+y=6
4x+y-4x=6-4x
y=-4x/1+6 when i plot it this way my line is no longer strait. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated thxs.

Question 356931: I have a couple questions I have no idea how to answer. I hope this gets to you today, I'm already late with the assignment. I'm taking Elementary Algebra with The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, I'm going for a Bachelor's degree in digital photography; I really doubt that I will have to use these skills in my career choice but nonetheless I still have to answer them and understand them. The questions I'm having trouble with are graphing these equations,
1. Y = 2x – 8
2. 5x – 5 = 3x – y
3. Y = IxI – 5
4. 3x + 4 = 4x – 6
The number's of order are not accurate for the assignment, but the equations themselves are. I don't understand what it is I should do to find the answer. Please help!
