Question 999387: i need help finding the slopes to graphs
please im having a really hard time

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Think of the slope of a line just like you walking up a hill. When you walk up a steep hill, you say "Wow, this some slope." This has a positive slope. It is equal to how much you go up (rise) divided by how far along you go (run). The more you go up per the amount you go forward is a greater slope.
When you go downhill, there is a negative slope because you rise a negative amount for how much you run...
Is that helping you understand the general idea?
In math we say, slope m = (change in y)/(change in x) = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)
