I don't know how to put it on this with the bracket things so I'll just say that the line doesn't go through 0,0 at all. I'm pretty sure it's not direct variation but I wanted to confirm. It won't be as direct variation is y=kx, where k is some constant. This goes through (0,0). The equation can be linear and not go through the origin.
The definition of direct variation is an equation y=kx. This is a linear equation, but not all linear equations are direct variation. y=2x+b is linear, but only y=2x is direct.
