Question 97389: This question has two parts.
a) find the domain of f%28x%29=5%2F%28x-2%29
b) find f(x+h)=?

So far, I put that
part a) domain = all real numbers except x (does not equal)=2
part b) 5%2F%28x%2Bh%2Bx-2%29 so 5%2F%28x%5E2%2Bh-2%29
I don't know if I am correct, though.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a) correct

b) f%28x%29=5%2F%28x-2%29 Start with the given function

f%28x%2Bh%29=5%2F%28highlight%28x%2Bh%29-2%29 Plug in x+h. To do this, simply replace each x with x+h.

f%28x%2Bh%29=5%2F%28x%2Bh-2%29 Since there are no common terms, we cannot combine any of the terms. So this is our answer.
