You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Question:

Graph f(x)=-2x+4

Answer.

If you want to graph the equation manually, you need to find our points.

For that give some arbitrary values for x and then find the corresponding values of f(x)

When , x = 0, then f(x) = -2(0) + 4 = 0 + 4 = 4

When , x = 1, then f(x) = -2(1) + 4 = -2 + 4 = 2

When , x = 2, then f(x) = -2(2) + 4 = -4 + 4 = 0

When , x = 3, then f(x) = -2(3) + 4 = -6 + 4 = -2

When , x = -1, then f(x) = -2(-1) + 4 = 2 + 4 = 6

When , x = -2, then f(x) = -2(-2) + 4 = 4 + 4 = 8

and so on....
now plot these values in a graph paper...

The the graph will come like this...

+graph%28+600%2C+600%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+-10%2C+10%2C-2x%2B4+%29+

Here you can see that the solution of this equation is x = 2
and y =4

Hope you found the explanation useful.
