Question 929820: I'm really having trouble solving this!
Y= mx + b
Y= m( -6)+ b
I'm trying to graph slope intercept form.
Answer by Fombitz(32388) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Start with your intercept.
(0,b)
Plot that point.
Now use the slope.
Slope is change in y over change in x.
So for each -6 change in y, there is a +1 change in x.
Another point would then be
(0,b)+(1,-6)=(1,b-6)
Plot that point.
Then draw the line containing those two points.
Done.
