It's constant where it's "horizontal," parallel to the x-axis.
It looks like that's from x= -1 to x = 2.

looks like the image is constant on the interval -1 <= x <= 2

that's the interval where the value of y is equal to -2.

since it stays at y = -2 from x = -1 to x = 2, that's the interval where the value of y remains constant which is what i believe they are asking you.
