Question 91690: Determine which two equations represent perpendicular lines.
a) y = 1/9 x + 3
b) y = 9 x - 3
c) y = 1/9 x - 3
d) y = - 1/9 x - 3
these are fractions and the x is centered, next to the plus sign there are no parenthese in my question.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
all these equations are in the slope-intercept form (y=mx+b), where m is the slope of the line and b is the y-intercept

two lines are perpendicular if their slopes are negative reciprocals of each other ... in this case, 9 and -1/9

so b and d are the equations
