Question:
Graph f(x) = -2x -2
Answer;
When you are plotting this graph on a graph paper,
Give some arbitrary values for x and find out the corresponding values of f(x)
f(x) = -2x -2
When x = 0, f(x) = -2*0 -2 =-2
When x = 1, f(x) = -2*1 -2 = -2-3 = -5
When x = 2, f(x) = -2*2 -2 = -4-2 = -6
When x = 3, f(x) = -2*3 -2 = -6 - 2 = -8
Now plot these values on the graph paper...
The the graph will come like this...
Hope you found the explanation useful.
