You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-8x2+%2B+2x+%2B+6=0
Simplifiable.
4x%5E2-x-3=0
Not sure if factorable but beginning with general solution and discriminant.
D=%28-1%29%5E2-4%2A4%28-3%29=1%2B4%2A12=49,
x=%281%2B-+sqrt%2849%29%29%2F%282%2A4%29
highlight%28x=%281%2B-+7%29%2F8%29%29%29

That meant that the simplified quadratic equation would be factorable, but not as easily as if the binomials used integers.
x=-3/4 or x=1
