You can put this solution on YOUR website! The equation y = (x + 3)^2 - 3 is just like the graph of y = x^2 but shifted 3 units to the left and 3 units down. Therefore its vertex will be at (-3 , -3) instead of at the origin. The size and shape of the graph will remain unchanged.
