To graph any INEQUALITY you have to first graph the EQUALITY
which is the boundary of INEQUALITY:
Graph y=-3x+5
graph%28400%2C300%2C-10%2C10%2C-10%2C10%2C-3x%2B5%29
Then:
Pick a test point that is not on the line, say (0,0)
Substitute that into the INEQUALITY: 3*0+0<5; 0+0<5; 0<5
That is false; that tells you the half-plane containg (0,0)
is NOT in the solution set;
Therefore the solution set is the half-plane on the other
side of the boundary line.
Darken it.
Final Solution for your problem: The line together with the darkened
half-plane.
