Question 822067: This question is in relationship to Quadratic Relationships...I think.
I'm confused on things like:
The area, A, of a rectangle with a side length I meters and a fixed perimeter is given by the equation A=I(240-I).
Suppose one dimension of the rectangle is 180 meters. What is the other dimension, what is the area of the rectangle?
If someone could explain this and problems like this to me,and how to do them, I would be very greatful. Thank you in advance, M.R.J

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Do you mean 180 or 80?
240/180=1 1/3
240/80=30
