You can put this solution on YOUR website! for a quadratic equation in standard form, y=ax^2+bx+c, the equation of the axis of symmetry of the parabola is x=-b/2a
the vertex lies on this axis ... to find the y coordinate of the vertex, just plug the x value into the original equation
