4x%2B2%284%29=10 plug in y=4

4x%2B8=10 Multiply

4x=2 Subtract 8 from both sides

x=2%2F4=1%2F2 Divide both sides by 4
So our solution is
x=1%2F2 and y=4 which can be stated as
(1/2,4)
