Question 77592: Can someone help plenty of us that we don't understand these problems
Problem 20
Directions: Complete the table, and describe the resulting graphs by identifying the vertex point, the graph’s direction, and any axis intercepts gleaned from the table or graph.
y = x^2-4x
Problem # 30
Directions: find the x-intercepts
y = x^2+x-6

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Directions: Complete the table, and describe the resulting graphs by identifying the vertex point, the graph’s direction, and any axis intercepts gleaned from the table or graph.
y = x^2-4x
If x=0, y=0
If x=1, y=-3
If x=-1,y=5
If x=2,y=-4
If x=-2,y=12

Vertex is at x=-b/2a= 4/2=2, y=-4
Graph opens up.
x-intercepts:
If y=0, x^2-4x=0
x(x-4)=0
x=0 or x=4

Problem # 30
Directions: find the x-intercepts
y = x^2+x-6
Let y=0
x^2+x-6=0
(x+3)(x-2)=0
x=-3 or x=2
