Please help me. I am not doing so good with this one.
Find the slope and y-intercept.
3x + 8y = 72

Rule:

Solve the equation for y, so that you have the form

                      y = mx + b

Then m, the coefficient of x is the slope, and b, the other
number is the y-coordinate of the y-intercept.  The x coordinate
of the y-intercept is 0, so the y-intercept is the point (0,b)

                
                     
                 
                      

Compare that with     

and you see that the slope m =  and the y-coordinate of
the y-intercept,b, is 9, and so the y-intercept is the point (0,9).
