You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Vertex Form is y = a(x - h)² + k
the vertex has coordinates of (h,k)

In f(x) = (x + 3)²
since 3 is positive, that means the value of h is -3, to make it +3 and
k is of course 0

Vertex is (-3,0)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Consider the standard reference parabola, f%28x%29=x%5E2. The center is at (0, 0). Adding or subtracting a number on x will shift right or left. This shift is the whole graph.

f%28x%29=%28x-c%29%5E2 will shift the whole graph, including vertex, c units to the right. This means the vertex would be (c, 0).

YOUR task now is to conclude what is the vertex of f%28x%29=%28x%2B3%29%5E2.
(?, 0).
What point is it?
