You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x+4y=8
4y=-x+8
y=-x/4+8/-4 (y=mx+b)
y=-x/4-2 thus the slope (m) is -1/4.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x+4y=8 you are going to try and get y on one side by itself so... start by subtracting x so then you will have 4y=x+8 then divide by 4... so u will have y=(x+8) all over 4 or (1/4)x +(8/4)=y then u can simplify the 8/4 to 2. so the final answer would be... y=(1/4)x +2... k no you know that the equation is in slope intercept form (y=mx+b) m= the slope so the slope is 1/4
