Perpindicular lines! Wow! Well, the slopes are going to be the opposite reciprocal. For example, we will say that the slope is 3. A line perpindicular to the line with a slope of 3 would have a slope of -1/3. The reciprocal of 3 is 1/3, and the opposite of positive is negative. The slope, or m, is always with the x.

y = mx + b.
B is the y intercept and m is the slope!
