Write two equations with difference slopes, but x1 = 3, y1 = -1 are the same
Using the form: y - y1 = m(x - x1)
:
y - (-1) = -3(x - 3)
y + 1 = -3x + 9
y = -3x + 9 - 1
y = -3x + 8; the 1st equation
and
y -(-1) = 2(x - 3)
y + 1 = 2x - 6
y = 2x - 6 - 1
y = 2x - 7; the 2nd equation
