+x%2B4y%3E8 graph it just like equality; find intercepts, plot the points and draw a dashed line because you have > sign which means that all points on a line are excluded from a set of solutions
write it as an equation
+x%2B4y=8....find x-intercept; set y=0

+x%2B4%2A0=8
+x=8...x-intercept is at (8,0)


+x%2B4y=8....find y-intercept; set y=0

+0%2B4y=8
+y=8%2F4

+y=2...y-intercept is at (0,2)



now graph a dashed line and shade everything above the line
