Question 697076: state the shifts of the graph f(x)=x%5E2 when it becomes f'(x)=%28x-2%29%5E2%2B3
I tried plugging the two equations into my graphing calculator but I'm not sure exactly what the question itself is asking for. I've never had a problem asking how the graph has "shifted". is it asking if the graph has relfected, transitioned etc?
Thank you for your help and for your time.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
state the shifts of the graph f(x)=x%5E2 when it becomes f'(x)=%28x-2%29%5E2%2B3
if your original graph started with:
f(x)=x%5E2
then you have:
f(x)=x%5E2+%2B+3
this shifts it vertically upwards 3 units
finally, if you have:
f(x)=%28x-2%29%5E2+%2B+3
this then shifts it horizontally to the right 2 units
