If you're looking to solve for x, treat is an equality. What you need to do is add 2 to all sides
+4%3C2x-2%3C10+
+4%2B2%3C2x+%2B+cross%28-2%2B2%29%3C10%2B2+
+6%3C2x%3C12+ Then divide each side by 2 to isolate x
+6%2F2%3Ccross%282%29x%2Fcross%282%29%3C12%2F2+
+3%3Cx%3C6+
So x can be any number between 3 and 6, but remember x cannot equal 3 or 6.
