You can put this solution on YOUR website! graph each equation by using the slope and y-intercept.
Here is my problem:
5y+3x=-5
Solve for y as follows:
y=(-3/5)x-1
The y-intercept is -1 so put a point at (0,-1)
The slope is [change in y]/[change in x] = [-3/5]
Put your pencil at (0,-1), move is 5 to the right,
then move it 3 down. You are now at the point
(5,-4); mark it. Draw a line thru (0,1),(5,-4).
That is the graph you want.

Cheers,
Stan H.
