set y=0
0=+-3x+-+1
3x+=-+1
x=-1%2F3..........x-intercept is at (-1%2F3,0)...that is one point
find y-intercept:
set x=0

y=+-1..........y-intercept is at (0,-1)...that is second point
plot these two points and draw a line through
