Question 662440: The intensity of radiation, R, from certain radioactive materials at a particular time, t, is thought to follow the law .
In an experiment to test this, the following values were obtained;
R - 58 43.5 26.5 14.5 10 (this is supposed to be a table)
t - 1.5 2 3 5 7
a) Show the assumption was correct, utilising your graphical and mathematical knowledge [Please use the correct type of graph paper]
b) Find values for k and n using your graph, thus state the equation in full.
Totally stuck on this question, i know i am supposed to end up with a straight line graph but cant get there, any help would be much appriciated.

Hi,Previously Posted
.

Excel has Excellent Graphing Techniques...using 'Scatter Plot', formula is generated
1) Entered Data into 2 Excel worksheet Columns
2) Choose: insert/chart/scatter..followed directions (also selected display formula/power
3)Graph shown: k = 94.437 and n = -1.1564
