You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First, get the equation into the form
+y+=+m%2Ax+%2B+b+ where b is the y-intercept
+3x+%2B+11+-+x+=20+-+6y+%2B9++
Add +6y+ to both sides
+6y+%2B+3x+-+x+%2B+11+=+20+%2B+9+
Combine terms
+6y+%2B+2x+%2B+11+=+29+
Subtract +2x+ from both sides
+6y+%2B+11+=+-2x+%2B+29+
Subtract +11+ from both sides
+6y+=+-2x+%2B+18+
Divide both sides by +6+
+y+=+-%282%2F3%29%2Ax++%2B+3+
The y-intercept occurs where +x+=+0+, so
+y+=+-%282%2F3%29%2A0+%2B+3+
+y+=+3+ is the y-intercept
----------------------
The x-intercept occurs at +y+=+0+
+0+=+-%282%2F3%29%2Ax+%2B+3+
Subtract +3+ from both sides
+-%282%2F3%29%2Ax+=+-3+
Multiply both sides by +-%283%2F2%29+
+x+=+9%2F2+ is the x-intercept
------------------------
Here's the plot:
