i need help with this graphing y=[x+4]+2
Start with the basic curve, y=x, which is a straight line thru the origin at a 45º angle (slope=1)
(x+4) means the entire curve is shifted 4 units to the left, that is the line crosses the x-axis at -4 and the y-axis at 4. For the final curve, y=(x+4)+2, bump the entire curve 2 units up.
