Question number 1:The auditorium can hold at most 250 students.
Question number 2:A pair of shoes costs $15 less than a pair of boots.The shoes cost $57.95.write and solve an equation to find the cost of the boots.
What i have tried for number 1:a + > 250
What i have tried for number 2:s + 15 < 57.95= s + 15 -15 < 57.95 - 15 = 42.95

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Write an inequality for each statement:
Question number 1:The auditorium can hold at most 250 students.
Let "x" be number of students in the auditorium.
x<=250
--------------
Question number 2:A pair of shoes costs $15 less than a pair of boots.The shoes cost $57.95.write and solve an equation to find the cost of the boots.
Let x be the cost of a pair of boots.
Then x-15 is the cost of a pair of shoes.
EQUATION:
x-15=57.95
x=$42.95 (this is the cost of a pair of boots)
