You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hi Ashley,
I need to determine which two equations represent parallel lines:
(a) y= 6x -5 (b) y = 6x + 5 (c) y = 6x + 2 (d) y = -1/6 x -5
The slope intercept form of a line is where m=slope.
Parallel lines have = slopes.
a, b, and c all have slopes of 6 and are all parallel. Did you type all of your equations correctly?
Happy Calculating, Ashley!!!
