m1*m2 = -1
Given that the line is perpendicular to y+=+%281%2F7%29x+%2B6
m1 = 1/7
Then %281%2F7%29m2+=+-1
Multiply by 7 on both sides
m2+=+-7
Now use this slope and the given point (4,-3) to obtain equation of a line:
Point-slope form
(y-y1) = m(x-x1)
(y+3) = -7(x - 4)
Distribute
y+3 = -7x + 28
Subtract 3 on both sides
y = -7x + 25
