You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y + x = -5
y=-5x-5
The line equation form is:
Y=mX+b where b is the Y intercept (-5).

Graph the equation and identify the y-intercept

y+%2B+x+=+-5
in slope-intercept form:
y+=-x+-5
find x-intercept} and y-intercept
0=-x+-5...->...x+=-5
y=-0+-5...->...y+=-5

plot points (-5,0) and (0,-5) on Cartesian coordinate system and draw a line through them

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Graph the equation and identify the y-intercept
y + x = -5
---
Solve for "y":
y = -x-5
----
You need 2 points:
If x = 0, y = -5, giving you point (0,-5) which is the y-intercept.
If x = 2, y = -7, giving you point (2,-7)
------
Plot the two points and draw a line thru them.
